River's Edge is a family of 4 that has grown up singing in Church. We were formally known as the "River Rats", Brent & Christy Horton, and sang songs from Country, Oldies, Blues, and Pop. All of our lives and in all of our concerts we have tried to put God first. We carried our Christian attitudes to every performance we did. Something we noticed was that other people noticed something different in us. Most people were used to bands being drinkers, smokers, cursers, etc. There were even specific incidences that people would even come up to us, asking if we were Christians. We give God all the glory for giving us the strength and courage to help us be the salt of the earth. (Below is a list of places we have performed.)

In 2008, God lead us on an individual basis to sing exclusively for Him. He dealt with us a little differently but as we started talking to each other about what we felt God was leading us to do, we realized that God was talking to the other one also. This is a wonderful feeling to know for certain what God wants you to do.

We hope that others can experience the joy and freedom you can have when you put your trust in Jesus Christ. If you are not saved that would be the first step. To know that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23). And that by trusting in Jesus, He can cover your sins. When Jesus, who never sinned, died on the cross he paid the price for our sins. So the work is done and all that is left is for you to trust and believe in Him, (John 3:16).
